To a wandering, cluttered mind, sleep is that elusive haven where your consciousness can finally rest. However, when you brain is plagued with so many thoughts, it’s difficult to keep your mind quiet for long enough to finally get some sleep. And it also doesn’t help that nighttime is such a quiet and perfect time for those thoughts to come out.

There are numerous remedies for those who can’t sleep. Some people suggest playing simple games on their phone until your mind gets so tired that it just falls into slumber. Others suggest reading a book that tire your eyes enough for them to finally need rest. And there are those who go through more extreme means of getting sleep like taking medication.
